Embark has the great honor of helping multiple myeloma patients, and those connected to this form of blood cancer, “move mountains” to raise awareness and money for the cause.

We have helped the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) on two Mt. Kilimanjaro climbs, and in 2018 we will help them trek to Mt. Everest Base Camp.

On one of these Kilimanjaro climbs, a team member named Mark “Splinter” Harder made a wonderful video which captures many of the essential elements of a Kili climb: the beauty, the challenge, the reward, and the wonderful people who make up our team of porters and guides. We offer it here for your enjoyment and inspiration, and we thank Mark and the rest of his teammates for a wonderful experience on Africa’s highest peak.
