Description
This immersive Zambia journey offers a thoughtfully curated blend of the country’s most iconic and remote wilderness regions. From the thunder of Victoria Falls to the wildlife-rich banks of the Zambezi River and the vast, untamed landscapes of Kafue National Park, this trip showcases Zambia at its most varied and rewarding.
Traveling by light aircraft between regions, guests stay in intimate, remote camps that prioritize access, exclusivity, and authentic safari experiences. Days are shaped around a balance of guided activities—such as game drives, walking safaris, river excursions, and cultural encounters—while allowing room to adjust the pace, locations, and length of stay to suit individual interests.
Arrive in Zambia and clear customs and immigration at Livingstone International Airport. You will be met and transferred approximately 50 minutes to your riverside lodge. This evening, gather with the group for a welcome dinner.
Enjoy a full day in Livingstone with included in-house activities. Your stay includes a visit to Victoria Falls on the Zambian side, as well as options such as a river cruise, guided birding, village walk, town and market tour, and an island picnic.
Transfer back to Livingstone Airport to meet the light aircraft flight to the Lower Zambezi. On arrival, you will be met and transferred by road and boat to your remote bush camp.
Spend the day enjoying in-house activities from camp, including morning and afternoon game drives, walking safaris, canoeing, boating, and fishing.
Another full day to continue exploring the Lower Zambezi through a range of included safari activities offered from camp.
Bid farewell to the team at Kutali and transfer to the airstrip for the light aircraft flight to Kafue National Park, one of Zambia’s least-visited wilderness areas. On arrival, continue on to your camp.
Enjoy a full day of activities from camp, including morning and afternoon game drives, walking safaris, boating, fishing, and visits to Kamosot Hide and the conservation centre.
Continue discovering Kafue National Park through a mix of game viewing, walking safaris, and time spent at hides and on the river.
Spend your final full day in Kafue enjoying the variety of included activities and soaking in this remote wilderness setting.
Enjoy one final morning in Zambia before transferring to the airstrip for the light aircraft flight to Lusaka to connect with your onward flights home.
