If you’ve spent any time on our new website recently, you may have noticed things feel a little different around here.

This refresh wasn’t just about design. It gave us space to step back, reflect, and make sure the way we show up online matches the kind of experiences we create on the trail.
Embark has always been about thoughtful adventure—experiences that challenge you, connect you with incredible places, and remind you that growth often lives just outside your comfort zone. The new site reflects that philosophy more clearly than ever.
A Year Defined by Meaningful Adventures
Over the past year, we had the opportunity to lead some truly special journeys around the world—each one different, each one leaving a lasting impression.
We took two groups hiking through the dramatic limestone spires of the Italian Dolomites, wandering alpine trails that feel straight out of a postcard.
We led our first-ever trek in Pakistan—an unforgettable experience that pushed us, inspired us, and opened the door to even more exploration there, with another group heading out next July.
We helped more than 20 U.S. veterans stand on the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro on Veterans Day, a moment that reminded all of us how powerful adventure can be when paired with purpose.
We supported Parkinson’s patients as they climbed the highest peaks of Guatemala, watching determination, resilience, and community take center stage every step of the way.
And in Peru, we created a brand-new high passes itinerary, linking remote trails that few—if any—other companies even know about. Quiet routes, big days, and the kind of trekking that rewards curiosity and commitment.
These aren’t just trips on a calendar. They’re experiences that stay with you long after the boots come off.

We’re just as excited about what’s coming next.
This year, we welcomed Julia as our new Safari Director. With more than 20 years of experience building custom itineraries across Africa, she brings a deep understanding of the continent—and a talent for creating journeys that feel both seamless and deeply personal. She’s already shaping some truly special walking and hiking safaris, and we can’t wait to share more of what’s ahead.
