Trekking in Ladakh, whether it’s climbing Stok Kangri or doing the classic Markha Valley Trek, means visiting another world, where Tibetan culture flourishes and nomads wander. It is often called Little Tibet, and it’s an amazing place to do adventure travel. It’s also a place threatened by global warming, which means that “sooner is better” applies to anyone wishing to visit this magical place.

We came across a couple of videos online that really whet our appetite to visit Ladakh. We wish we could take you there literally, but for now, let these amazing images suffice.
