Carrie O’Callaghan and Donovan Pacholl, the founders and owners of Embark, are passionate about the great outdoors. For two decades, they’ve evolved into seasoned expedition leaders and planners, curating countless unforgettable journeys for thousands of adventurers in all the corners of the world.
Embark was founded by them in 2002 on Mt. Kilimanjaro in East Africa. They have lead and organized expeditions in all corners of the world.

Donovan’s specialities include adventures and expeditions in Tanzania, Nepal, Bhutan and Argentina. Carrie’s specialities include adventure hikes in Peru, Guatemala, and Ecuador. Robin’s specializes in wildlife safaris in East and Southern Africa.
