Looking at photos of beautiful places like Ladakh can be inspiring, but it is dangerous to our productivity sometimes. See if you can look at the photos in this post and still get work done!

These  pictures, and the lake called Pangong Tso, are even more remarkable when you consider the surface of the water is at about 14,270 feet above sea level, along the India-Tibet border. It’s 83 miles long and covers a total of 233 square miles!

We also found an amazing panorama photo of the lake on Wikipedia.

Sadly, since it is in disputed territory, it’s difficult to visit Pangon Tso. But this is just  the kind of wild, scenic country Embark likes to visit, as on our Parang La Trek, which visits another amazing lake at 15,000 feet elevation called Tso Moriri.
