We Still Hike, But Now We Run Mountains
Embark is putting together two unique running adventures next year in places we know and love: the Kilimanjaro Marathon and Half Marathon in Tanzania and the Everest Base Camp Marathon in Nepal. These trips are designed for runners who want more than just a race — they want a fully supported travel experience in one of the most iconic mountain regions in the world.
We’ll take care of the details so you can focus on the run, the destination, and the experience. Embark will coordinate your airport transfers, hotel arrangements, race registration support, and on-the-ground logistics for each location. For the Kilimanjaro event, runners can sign up for either the half marathon or full marathon, both held at the base of the mountain. For the Everest Base Camp Marathon, runners will take part in one of the most unforgettable races in the world, starting at Everest Base Camp and descending through the Khumbu Valley.
Whether you’ve traveled with Embark before or this is your first adventure with us, we’ll be there to help make the process smooth, organized, and memorable from start to finish.
