This may be the question we get most often — and have the hardest time answering. Because, really, what people are saying is, “What will the weather be like when I am going to be there?” And of course the answer to that is … it depends. Also, we don’t really know.

It depends in when you’re going, and for that we can send charts and temperature profiles and season summaries, but even then, there are exceptions. It could rain in the dry season, be clear in the winter, or snow in summer.

It also depends on exactly where you are. In Tanzania, well, you could be on safari, or you could be climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro. You could be on a mountain ridge or down in a valley, inside, outside, we don’t know!

Oh, and it could be day, or night. Or just a weird weather event no one can explain. Or Tuesday. We just don’t know, sorry to say. We’ve been there, and we know what we’re talking about, but that only goes so far.
