Overview

Wyoming Premiere Adventure

Your Wyoming trekking itinerary has been carefully curated to get off the beaten path and out in the wilderness of two separate mountain ranges on lesser-known routes. Don’t be fooled though- the scenery you will encounter is no less magnificent than those popular national park destinations. This multi-summit endeavor will take you to the Snake River range looking down on vast remote Idaho; the Tetons unfold before you as you journey into the Southern portion of the range and glimpse views not often seen by the average visitor. Because we’re steering clear of the national park, our seasoned team of naturalist guides will have plenty of space and time to not only lead you on physically enduring climbs but impart on you the unique cultural, geographical and geological history of this region. Finally, your hikes culminate in a final challenging summit which is celebrated with a scenic ride down an aerial tram- a truly memorable way of finishing out your time in Wyoming.

Day 2
Mt. Oliver- 9,004ft

This morning after a hearty breakfast, you will transfer to the trailhead. Located in the lightly visited Snake River Range and the southern part of Jackson Hole, Mt Oliver is a great hike to test your legs and lungs at altitude. With an initial high elevation gain and an easy scramble to the top, you will be rewarded with mountain views of Teton Pass, mixed meadows and the solace of nature. Return to the trail head along the same route, 8 miles roundtrip, and then continue back to your accommodations. This evening is on your own to enjoy dinner.

Day 3
Taylor Mountain- 10,351ft

Another day of adventure awaits in the southern Teton Range. Embark on a steady climb as you walk along the Coal Creek through mountain meadows and thick aspen groves to reach a high alpine environment with amazing views. While slightly less mileage than the day before with 7.2 miles roundtrip, the increased elevation gain of 2800 feet make this day a bit more challenging than the last. Return to your comfortable accommodations after a rewarding day. Dinner is on your own tonight.

Rendezvous Mountain- 10,450ft

An early morning awaits for your final day in the Tetons. Explore the start of the Teton Crest Trail as you hike along the Teton Range. This is a challenging hike with two big climbs at the end of the day. Our destination is the peak of Rendezvous Mountain and the famous aerial tram of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. After 14 miles and 4000 feet of elevation gain, you are rewarded with spectacular views as well as a delicious treat at the small waffle hut at the summit.
